Play at Franklin.

The Yakima Pickleball Club plays at Franklin Park, where there’s always activity on the courts.

Check the current schedule on Global Pickleball Network (GPN) for up-to-date event listings and open play times.

  • Most mornings feature club round-robin events, which are a fun and social way to get involved.
  • Afternoons, starting around 4 PM, typically offer open play—just show up and jump into a game.
  • Of course you can always head to the courts and see if anyone is willing to let you join in for open play.

Join a round-robin event to play with a variety of partners and opponents. These events are part of the club’s regular schedule.
Sign-up in advance on GPN is recommended, as spots can fill quickly.

Franklin Park – 8 dedicated outdoor public courts
NOTE: Bring water, no water fountain at the courts. Water and bathrooms are nearby.
Franklin Park website

The courts at Franklin Park are open to the public, but the Yakima Pickleball Club has worked with the City of Yakima to reserve court time for club activities.

During these reserved times, some courts are used for club round-robin events. The remaining courts are available for open play, where club members and guests are welcome to join in.

When all courts are full, we kindly ask everyone to rotate off after each game so everyone gets a chance to play. Thanks for helping keep play fair and fun for all!

Franklin Park Regular Weekly Schedule

Club Play times are established by YPC and the City of Yakima. All courts must be in shared rotation. No court reservations or court camping is permitted during these times.

  • Every morning from 7:00am until noon
  • Monday – Friday evenings: 5:00pm until dark

During regular scheduled times you can expect to find people to play with. The real fun of pickleball is meeting and playing with new friends. Bring the kids out, there is a playground and Franklin pool next to the courts.
